Rebecca Ann Maben, 66, of McVeytown, passed away on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville.
Born July 5, 1952 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Harold Calvin Noll and Doris (Spigelmyer) Noll-Eward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Maben, and step-father, Charles N. Eward.
Rebecca will be remembered and missed by her loving children, Edith Wilson and husband Steven, and Jennifer Maben and companion Lamar Helm all of McVeytown, and Amy Maben and companion Ben Karichner of Lewistown, Siblings, David Noll and wife Cindy, Frank Eward and wife Mary, and Ronald Eward and wife Sandy all of Lewistown, Grandchildren, Angelique Diveglia, Timothy Yoder, Kendra Yoder, Roxanne Decker, Dakoda Wilson, Ashton Wilson, Brian Decker, Jr., Samantha Decker, Emily Karichner, and Benjamin Karichner, Jr., 7 Great-Grandchildren, Lester Spickler and Emmy Guers, who were very special to her, and her best friends, Ruth Liddick, Sue Renninger, Melissa Bonett, and Ted Rhoades.
Rebecca was employed at Bradford Room, Beaver Bakery and Scotty’s Fashions. She was past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at Brooklyn Hose Co. In her free time, Rebecca enjoyed sewing and making crafts. Most of all, she loved spending time with her loving family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday February 11, 2019 at The Barr Funeral Home, Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Pastor Heidi Bracken officiating. There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
