Amanda L. Mank, 37, of Burnham, passed away on January 30, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville, after a brief illness.
Born June 9, 1981 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Dave and Lurie (Wagner) Weikel of Belleville. Amanda is also survived by her loving husband Bernie Mank, whom she married on May 15, 2004, her children, Andrew and Evan Mank, a brother, Chris Weikel, grandmother Kay Wagner, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amanda graduated from Indian Valley High School and attended Bloomsburg University for two years, majoring in Social Services. Afterward, she was a devoted wife and mother to her boys and loved being with them every day. Amanda also enjoyed reading and spending time with family and taking care of her cats.
A memorial service in loving memory of Amanda will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Barr Funeral Home, Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Rev. John Walters officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
