Kenneth E.  Fike

Kenneth E. Fike 63 years went to be with our Lord Sat July 29, 2017 at William Penn. He was born Sept 15, 1953 in Lewistown. The son of the late Kenneth F. and Naomi (Kochenderfer) Fike. He is survived by his wife Beatrice (Whiteman) Fike.

Also surviving is a daughter Kendra Fike and companion Mitchell Kline of Richfield. Step children, Sherry Whiteman, Harry Stimely, and Cathy Haines of Lewistown. Sisters, Beverly Gers Terrace Blvd, Annette Lightfoot and husband Dennis, Lewistown. Carol Alexander and husband Larry, McVeytown. Nora Weaver and husband Gary, Lewistown. Nancy Hopple and husband Richard, Lewistown. Granddaughter Masie Ann.

Ken was a truck driver for Harshberger’s Trucking Strodes Mills. He is a Veteran of the US Air force of 8 years, serving in Vietnam. He was a life member of VFW Post 7011 Auxiliary. He was the first man to be in the Ladies Auxiliary. Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Services will be Tuesday Aug 1st 2017 at 11:00 am at the Barr Funeral Home, Inc and Crematory 120 Logan Street with Herb Hamilton officiating. A viewing will be Tuesday from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown. Military Services by VFW Post 7011 Lewistown.
