Vaughn A. Yeater, 74, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at Hearthside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, State College.
Born April 13, 1944 in Front Royal, Virginia, he was the son of the late James and Ruth (Vaughn) Yeater. He was also preceded in death by a son Christopher Yeater, and a sister.
Vaughn will be remembered and missed by his children, James Yeater and wife Crystal, Douglas Wagner and companion Jennifer Murphy, and Scott Yeater all of Lewistown, Grandchildren, Kevin Delamarter, Megan Wagner, Brittini Fultz, Kyle Yeater, Steffani Brumbaugh, Dustin Yeater, Mason Yeater, Logan Yeater, Tristan Steele, and Robert Yeater, Great-Grandchildren, Aiden Moore, Leevi Fultz, Wiatt Fultz, Madeline Wagner, Olivia Wagner, Madeline Clinger, Parker Clinger and Conner Steele.
He was employed by Avtex Fibers until its closing and later retired from Trinity Plastics in Lewistown.
Vaughn was a man who loved to hunt and fish, especially for trout. He was also a member of the City Hook and Ladder, FAME EMS, and the Lewistown Owl’s Club.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Barr Funeral Home Inc and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
