Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the Rothrock family. I have such great memories of Mr. Rothrock from Strodes Mills Middle school 1985/1986. He was my 8th grade math teacher and introduced us to computer programming! I remember his funny jokes. “Toughski” - “It’s tough to ski when there isn’t any snow”. He was a great teacher who brought fun in learning. My dad had him for math at Rothrock High school and also as a baseball coach and always spoke highly of him. My younger brother had him as a substitute teacher from time to time after he retired from full time teaching. What a wonderful legacy he has left for all the lives he's touched. He will always be remembered.

Condolence: Mr Rothrock leaves many memories behind for so many. He taught all of my family, my father, siblings and finally me in the late 70s He asked me if i was related to Ron Don or Mary and I said nope. And he fussed months later when he learned the truth :). Made learning fun and I️ still recall his sayings

Condolence: To Family
Harry was a great mentor to me as a beginning teacher and over time became a great friend. Between coin collecting and our poker club we spent special time together. Harry's great sense of humor and teaching style made me a better teacher. I tried to emulate what I saw in Harry throughout my career. Harry will surely be missed by numerous faculty and countless students that he molded into not only math experts but caring human beings. Now he and Maude will once again unite and spend eternity together. Bless them both.

Condolence: I am saddened to see such a fine teacher leave his students behind, and a vacuum in our lives. I can say without any doubt in my mind that Mr Harry Rothrock was one of the finest and most honorable men who ever walked through the front doors of Rothrock High School. He follows such great teachers, like Naomi French, Clarence Richwine, Hugh Day, Carl Kodish, Victor (VT) Schreiber, just to name a few. As with many of my Classmates, I can honestly say that these teachers helped shape me into the individual that I am today and I will forever remember them for the great people they were. If God has a classroom in Heaven, I can see Harry standing up there by the blackboard with his finger nails slowing scraping their way down the board sending that shrill screech right through these students causing the cold chills to creep up and down their backs. Yes, Harry, you will always occupy a special place in my heart and those memories will go with me until we meet again.
