Obituary for Jeffrey S. Sulouff

Jeffrey S.  Sulouff
Jeffrey Stephen Sulouff, 69, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical Center-Danville.
Born June 28, 1948 in Lewistown PA. He was the son of the late John ‘Jack’ and Diane (Jordan) Sulouff. Son in law of Clyde and Verda Glick. Brother of John Sulouff and Christine Sulouff-Hoyt. Brother in law to Patricia Sulouff, Linda Hoy and Grace Troyer. Husband to Barbara, and father to Christopher and Elizabeth.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Chief Logan High School in 1966, an active member of Rhodes United Methodist Memorial Church who served on multiple committees as well as active with the Youth group. He was active on Cub Scout and Boy scout commities and helped with raising funds. Jeff was a beloved volunteer at Greenwood Furnace State Park for 15 years. In 2004, for the 100th Anniversary of the closing of the furnace, Jeff talked to management at Standard Steel and arranged the donation of the steam whistle to Greenwood. He also greatly enjoyed classic cars and upon his retirement he and his close friend Bill built his own hot rod.

He worked for the Standard Steel and retired in 2013. After which he and his good friend Bill built his retirement gift a 1923 hot rod.

A memorial service will be held at Rhodes Memorial Church, 500 Highland Avenue, Burnham on Oct. 14 at 4:00 p.m. with a meal following.
